London, Aug. 7 (ANI): Elvis Presley's song 'Suspicious Minds' has been named his best song in a poll conducted to mark the 30th anniversary of the King's death on August 16, 1977.
The other two songs of the King, 'Jailhouse Rock' and 'Always on My Mind', claimed the second and third positions respectively.
Fourth on the list of his best songs was 'In The Ghetto', while wrapping up the top five was 'Are You Lonesome Tonight?'.
As many as 12,000 fans voted in the Radio Times survey. Based on their votes, it was found that 'Jailhouse Rock' was his best film, followed by GI Blues and Viva Las Vegas.
Sixty-three per cent of fans said that they preferred the lean Elvis of the 50s to the portly crooner of the Vegas years, while 32 per cent said they loved both equally.
Radio Times music expert Stuart Macone believes that Presley would be a legend if still alive today.
"Elvis would be in his 70s, reborn as a Mount Rushmore-style icon of America. He'd have played an emotional blinder at Live Aid," the Mirror quoted him as saying. (ANI)
