A little over three months back, Randeep Hooda had broken his ankle after he fell off a horse during a game of polo at the Mahalaxmi Race Course. The accident happened when his horse slipped and he fell off. However, Randeep is back 'horsing' around, as evident by his participation in a recent sports event where he got a team silver in dressage nationals. Ecstatic with his return to the circuit, he is glad that he has returned to his first love."Ask me", he quips, "I am now back to my first love that I have been so much missing for all these months. It was nice to be back in the circuit."
What has made him further happy is the fact that the event where he participated is supposed to be the toughest horse show in the country.
"It was quite challenging, no doubts about that", says Randeep, "This is why it was an achievement to get a team silver in dressage nationals. Its makes one feel even better when one is competing with people who are thorough professional."
In the recent times, he has seen three releases - RU-BA-RU, KARMA AUR HOLI and MERE KHWABON MEIN JO AAYE. His next film would be RANG RASIYA which is based on the life of 19th Century painter Raja Ravi Varma.
Nonetheless he continues to be choosy about the work that he picks up.
"I am trying to choose the most exciting ones of the lot. Yes, there is a general slow down in the pace but there should be something happening soon. Stay tune", smiles Randeep before signing off.
