Sundar C is a strange person. It was the time of 'Ullathai Alli Thaa.' When asked what he wanted most as a director, he said, "If I direct, there should be no loss, so I want to be known as a minimum guarantee director."
Both his films 'Thalainagaram' and 'Veerappu' are hits, so it is natural to expect him to want to become number one hero. But he still; sticks on to the minimum guarantee theory.
"If I act in a film, there should be no loss. I want to be a minimum guarantee actor. For example, I want to be like Vijayakanth," says Sundar C.
In the matter of heroine choice also, he is very practical. For his range, he cannot demand a Trisha or Asin, so he says openly that he is happy to adjust with whichever actress the directors chooses.
It is alright to want to be like Vijayakanth in the field of films, but to aspire to the same in politics would be dangerous – not for Sundar C but for Tamilnadu!
