Murugadoss is the hottest director in the cinema industry. After a series of hits like Dheena, Ramana, and the blockbuster Gajini, he is now directing a film with the Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan.

The movie is the remake of his Gajini, which was not just a mega hit in Kollywood but had a long run in Tollywood too. Work has already commenced and the movie is expected to hit the screens in summer 2008.

The director is now in South Africa for a song sequence for this Hindi Gajini. When our special correspondent called him over phone, Murugadoss sounded very happy, and said that the movie is shaping up very well. He showered praises on Aamir Khan and was raving about his perfectionism and dedication towards work. The director said that the shooting for the song is expected to be wrapped up by August 11th and the team would be returning to India then.

When asked about his meeting with Rajini and whether a movie with him is in the offing, the director accepted the fact that he went to discuss a story with the superstar and is yet to get a positive reply. This is sure to be interesting. Watch this space for more news on this.
