Devi Sri Prasad is a coveted music director in Tollywood. He has won filmfare awards for his music in Varsham in 2004 and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana in 2005.
The music director has also made a mark in the Tamil film industry with Sachin. He now has two big films in his kitty - Jayam Ravi's Bommurillu remake, which is named Santosh Subramaniam and Vikram's big-budgeted Kandasamy.
The music director is very happy to get such good offers from Kollywood. As it was Devi Sri Prasad who composed the music for Bommurillu, the director of the remake version, Raja, had no second thoughts and signed him up immediately. But Kandasamy could be his biggest break. It is his ticket to fame and how well he uses it is yet to be seen.
When asked recently where he derived his source of inspiration, he had said that he worships Illayaraja as his God and added that he has a huge poster of the maestro in his Chennai Studio.
