After delivering a super hit, Thiruvilayadal Aarambam director Bhoopathy Pandian started his next project Malaikottai.

Vishal and Priyamani are starring in this film. The director not wanting to tax Vishal too much for the time being, as he had met with an accident while shooting for Malaikottai, is now filming scenes where the hero need not exert himself much.

Meanwhile, Bhoopathy Pandian has other things going on in his mind as he has already started working on his next project. When a behindwoods correspondent called the director, he said that the story for his next venture is almost ready. When prodded to say more about it, Bhoopathy Pandian said: “Simbu would be more apt for my next project as his body language and mannerisms is exactly what I have in mind for the lead role.”

With Simbu having his hands full with the 2 Ks – Kettavan and Kaalai – this venture may take time. But talks are in progress, he said.
