The shooting of Pollathavan is almost complete sans climax sequence which requires the film crew to shoot at a fish processing unit.
The unit is searching for the right place but in vain which has delayed the wrapping up of the film. This has naturally dampened the sprits of the director and hero.
According to the storyline, it is mandatory for them to shoot only at a fish processing unit but as the recommended temperature there should not exceed minus four degrees, authorities are not permitting the unit to shoot there as the heat emitted from the powerful arc lights would destroy the fish totally.
Secondly it is almost near impossible for people to work in such a low temperature. This has resulted in the unit opting for erecting sets to complete this scene.
