London, Aug. 9 (ANI): Pop singer Justin Timberlake has apologised to his Australian fans for the misbehaviour he and his then girlfriend Cameron Diaz showed during his Hordern Pavilion shows in 2004, and promised that he will play nice with the locals when he performs at Acer Arena on October 31.
During his previous tour, Timberlake and Diaz flipped their middle fingers and scowled any time they spied a camera. Reporters who attended his only Australian press conference were bullied and warned not to ask any controversial questions.
Timberlake, however, says that his first tour to the country was one of his favourite trips, and that he is now more at ease with the attention his success brings.
"I feel like I've made my peace with a lot of that stuff now. I apologise for some of the things I've done in that process, people I've hurt,'' the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
"I don't feel like I'm going out of my way to avoid that attention. If you want to take a picture of me, sure, I don't feel like I'm going out of my way to avoid it, I just don't want them to get in my personal space,'' he added.
Rumours are abuzz that Timberlake's creative partner Timbaland may join him on the tour and play a greatest hits DJ set during intermission. (ANI)
