Melbourne, Aug 9 (ANI): Writer-director Kevin Smith is reportedly planning to helm comic book movie 'Supermax'.
Although the comic book fan would not directly come out with his plans, he revealed in an interview with Slash Films that his next project is about the Green Arrow, the Moviehole reports.
Smith produced a 15-issue tenure on 'Green Arrow' that saw the character return from the dead. He then introduced Mia Dearden, a teenage girl, into the fold as the second character to take the mantle of Arrow's sidekick Speedy.
Warner Brothers will develop the film, produced by ''Batman Begins' writer David Goyer.
The film will focus on DC Comics' superhero Green Arrow locked up in a special prison and stripped of his powers. (ANI)
