One is heard about lucky numbers, alphabets, days etc. But who ever heard of a lucky film. But where actor Tusshar Kapoor is concerned, it is all about a lucky film, and the film happens to be Golmaal.
In fact, no other film has done so much for Tusshar's career as the two Golmaal films. His knack for comedy was best exploited by director Rohit Shetty. If sources are to be believed, then the actor who played a mute in Golmaal and in Golmaal Returns, may well be playing a double role in the third film of the Golmaal trilogy. According to sources, Shetty is working on the script of the third Golmaal film and may just give Tusshar a double role, with one of being mute and the other deaf. In fact, there is something about the word Golmaal which works wonders for Tusshar. He has been signed on by director Satish Kaushik for the remake of the Hrishikesh Mukherjee classic, Golmaal, which starred Amol Palekar and Bindiya Goswami. Tusshar has been signed on to play the role of Palekar. Even though Kaushik's film will not be called Golmaal to avoid confusion with Shetty's film, it still has a deep connection with the original Golmaal. Meanwhile, Tusshar has been reaping in the benefits that Golmaal got him. Currently, he has two films lined up for released, Rumi Jaffrey's Life Partner and Neeraj Vohra's Run Bhola Run before he starts work on the two Golmaals.
