Washington, August 12 (ANI): Actress Jodie Foster has revealed that she can do only one traumatic film role a year, because it takes her time to get over from those troubled characters.
The Oscar winning actress, who plays a vigilante relentlessly hunting for her fianc‚'s killers, has confessed that the disturbing role took a terrible toll on her.
"Whether I like to admit it or not - and usually I don't like to admit it - the stuff I do affects me. It's this strange lonely thing. It's hard to explain what it is to lie in a pool of fake blood for four days and just be thinking those thoughts," Contactmusic quoted Foster as saying.
"There's a real sadness to it. So I don't want to do that more than once a year," she said.
Meanwhile 'The Accused' star has admitted that shopping is the one thing she finds most scary and frightening.
"The thing I really don't like to do is shop. When I was a kid, my mom liked to shop and I would stay in the car and read," she told Self magazine. Since then, my shopping dread has gotten worse, and now it's a phobia. I'll walk into a store, feel my face twitch, and go back to the car," she added. (ANI)
