Washington, August 12 (ANI): London-based pop sensation Lily Allen is all set to get her own BBC TV show next year.
Reports claim that the star, currently dealing with visa problems in the US, has been in talks with the British broadcasters.
According to sources, Allen met with BBC3 boss Danny Cohen last week, and BBC insiders have said that Cohen was "impressed" with the young star's "mature approach to life" and is keen on signing her up.
"He's checked out her MySpace blog and thinks she's just the kind of articulate young person the channel needs. Its early days but he's very keen," Contactmusic quoted a source, as saying.
It is believed that the 22-year-old will focus the show on teenage problems such as weight and relationships.
The news follows a string of TV appearances from Allen, including being a guest on Jonathan Ross's BBC chat show and hosting an episode for Channel 4 show The Friday Night Project. (ANI)
