For most of the year, Yash Raj have been under a lot of pressure, as two of their safest ventures (on paper) have let them down. While the Saif-Rani starrer, TA RA RUM PUM, managed to get to a decent total and status, after a slow start, the failure of JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, came as a bolt out of the blue for them. The Abhishek, Bobby, Preity and Lara starrer turned out to be the first losing venture for Yash Raj in five years.We now hear that the stars of their under-production action bonanza, TASHAN, have been forbidden to speak to the media! As per the buzz, Yash Raj, still smarting from the twin setback of TA RA RUM PUM and JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, want to maintain an air of secrecy about their Anil, Akshay, Saif and Kareena starrer.
Well, if that is indeed the case, we may just see a turnaround pretty soon, as happy days seem to be returning to Yash Raj camp, if the initial performance of their Shah Rukh Khan starrer, CHAKDE! INDIA is anything to go by, both critically and commercially!
