Hema Malini has signed actress-cum director Revathi to direct her next home production. The film is supposed to be based on a mother-daughter relationship, making it an all woman enterprise.
Hema Malini has finally started revamping her production house after 16 years. Hema has already met Revathi and she is believed to have loved the script. The two women met recently and now Revathi is believed to have gone back to Chennai and is working on the script. If all goes according to schedule, then the film is expected to hit the floors after Diwali. Hema wanted Revathi as she felt that a woman director would be better able to relate to the mother-daughter subject. The cast is yet to be finalized. Once the final draft of the script is ready, both Hema and Revathi will decide on it. This will be Revathi's third directorial venture. The previous two being Mitr-My Friend and Phir Milenge.
