New York, Aug. 14 (ANI): Having experienced eight marriages and begotten nine children, Oscar-winning actor Mickey Rooney has eventually learnt what makes a relationship work.
The 88-year-old star says that the success of any marriage depends upon respect and kindness.
"The key to a successful marriage is respect and kindness. It's the woman that makes the man who he is," the New York Post quoted him as telling London's Observer.
Rooney, who's been wedded to his current partner, Jan Chamberlain, for 29 years, strongly feels that women never think of causing any harm to their men.
"Listen to your wife, and she will do you no wrong," he said. (ANI)
