After the success of India-made animation films like HANUMAN and MY FRIEND GANESHA [in some circuits], a new animation film comes knocking on the doors of theatres-CHEENTI CHEENTI BANG BANG.
This 80-minute-long film may sound similar to the title of the popular children's book 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', but it's neither a copy nor an inspired version of it. It's an entirely different story of two kingdoms of ants at loggerheads with each other. However, it is not a battle story altogether. There is a romantic twist too, as the Prince and Princess of warring kingdoms fall in love.
Produced by a joint venture company Elecom-Fiesta Entertainment P. Ltd., CHEENTI CHEENTI BANG BANG marks the coming together of Elecom Toon, a part of the Elecom group based in Kolkata and Fiesta in Mumbai. CHEENTI CHEENTI BANG BANG is their maiden foray into film production, which features the voices of well-known actors like Ashish Vidyarthi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asrani and Anjan Srivastava.
Its director and chief animator is Niloy, while lyrics are penned by Nida Fazli and the songs are composed by Jeet.
