London, Aug 15 (ANI): Pop star Lily Allen's 'New Look' range has been given the thumbs-up over Kate Moss and Madonna by TV fashionistas Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine.
The Brit fashion gurus have earlier criticised Madonna and model turned fashion designer Moss for making clothes that suited only skinny women.
"The thing is, not everybody has a body like Madonna. It seems she has designed that range - if she did design it - with her own body shape in mind. So if you have got her yoga-toned physique then good luck to you - but most people don't," the Daily Express quoted Trinny, as saying.
"It's the same with Kate Moss. No one has a figure like hers so her clothes only really look good on her - not real women," she said.
The fashion advisors insisted that Allen's clothes range was a winner as it was good for curvy British girls.
"Lily Allen on the other hand - she is really curvy so it might be easier to wear her clothes," Constantine said.
Allen's style of cocktail dresses and athletic shoes' popularity, resulted in the May 2007 premiere of 'Lily Loves', a line of dresses, shoes, and accessories sold through New Look. (ANI)
