When Karan Johar decided to remake the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Agneepath there was a buzz in Bollywood that Hrithik Roshan will play Big B’s role.
However, things seemed to have changed with the junior Roshan busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzarish. Apparently, Hrithik cannot allot dates for the remake and skipped the project.
Meanwhile, Karan is expected to sign up Abhishek Bachchan to play the role that his dad portrayed in Agneepath.
Abhi, who in more than one occasion had stated that Agneepath remains his favorite Bachchan film till date, is expected to lap up the opportunity.
