Washington, Aug 16 (ANI): Roland Emmerich is set to helm the remake of the 1966 science fiction film 'Fantastic Voyage' for 20th Century Fox.
The German film director, screenwriter, and producer Centropolis Entertainment partner Michael Wimer will produce with James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment,' Variety magazine reports.
'National Treasure' scribes Marianne and Cormac Wibberley are reportedly in talks with the film bosses to write the script.

His only chance for survival is that his five colleagues are miniaturized in a ship, and injected into his bloodstream.
The film will be Emmerich's third large-scale project for Fox, after 'Independence Day' and 'The Day After Tomorrow'.
