After Aparichitudu, there has been no notable hit for Vikram in Telugu. In order to get a new look for audiences, Vikram has adopted a different polished persona in Bheema. Sri Surya Movies is making the film for simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu; the film is now in the finishing stages. Directed by Linguswamy, the film had recently completed the shooting part. Trisha is the female lead and the audio of the Tamil version was released recently in Chennai. The producer is making efforts to launch the audio of the Telugu version in Hyderabad very soon. Vikram says, 'Presently, re-recording work is in progress. Music by Harris Jayaraj will enthrall the youth once again.' A.M. Ratnam is the producer of the film.
