Samir Karnik's Vaada Raha I Promise, earlier titled Roshan, is almost ready for release. The film which sees Bobby Deol and Kangana Ranaut pair up for the first, completed its shooting a couple of months ago and is now in post production. The film was on hold as Karnik was busy working on Heroes.
In the film produced by Eros Entertainment, Bobby plays a doctor who is involved in caner research. His life is turned upside down when he finds himself paralysed after an accident. Kangana is his love interest, while child actor Dwij Yadav plays a cancer patient. The film has been shot primarily in Mumbai's Film City and Madh Island. The outdoor schedules took place in Istanbul in Turkey, and in Manali back home. The film was shot over 34 days and is being readied for an August end release.
