Diwali is the time when most number of films hit the marquee and Bollywood considers the Diwali weekend to be auspicious.
Many films in the past, released during Diwali, have turned out to be box office hits and this has literally led to a scramble for releasing films on Diwali. This year too, many films are in the line including some prestigious and big banner ventures.
Notable among them are: Aladin starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt; Main Aur Mrs Khanna which has Salman Khan pairing up with Kareena Kapoor;
the Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta starrer Blue; and Ajay Devgan-Bipasha Basu starrer All the Best.
