It is an old news that Billa 2007 is a remake of yesteryear’s super hit Billa which again is made from the Hindi Don. The Hindi remake had Shahrukh Khan in the lead role which was a runaway success.
In Tamil Ajith plays the role of Billa which will hit the screens soon. Don was made as Yugandhar in Telugu also in 1979 which featured N T R in the lead role produced by Vidya Sagar, brother of P Vasu for Gajalakshmi Arts Firm.
Now following the present trend of remakes, Yugandhar is slated to be remade which will feature Junior N T R in the lead role. While talking about the latest Yugandhar, P Vasu states, “The old Yugandhar was produced by my brother Vidya Sagar.
Now I will be directing the new one which will be produced by my brother”. Shooting for the film is slated to commence in January 2008.
