August 2007 would go down as probably one of the most unlikely month for Anupam Kher. This is because probably for the first time ever in his 25 year old career, he would be seen in two films that feature him as a central protagonist.While on 17th August, i.e. today, he would be seen playing a corpse in BUDDHA MAR GAYA, a couple of weeks down the line, i.e. 31st August, he matches steps with Om Puri in his search for VICTORIA NO. 203. Incidentally both the films are comedies.
While BUDDHA MAR GAYA features him as a business mogul, he is just the opposite in VICTORIA NO. 203 where he plays a small time crook. BUDDHA MAR GAYA comprises of numerous veteran actors like Paresh Rawal and Om Puri. On the other hand VICTORIA NO. 203 has youngsters like Jimmy Sheirgill and debutant Sonia Mehra coming along with Javed Jaffrey and Kamal Sadanah.
