New Delhi, July 14 (IANS) Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan's singer-actress daughter Shruthi, who was set to sing at a forthcoming memorial concert for pop legend Michael Jackson, will not participate in the event to be held in Chennai.
The event is taking place Aug 29.
'I was approached in this regard by musician Praveen Mani. Since I was busy with my previous commitments, I could not confirm my participation until now. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend this event due to previous commitments,' Shruthi said in a press statement.
The 23-year-old actress is making her Bollywood debut with action-adventure movie 'Luck' opposite latest heartthrob Imran Khan. She is busy promoting the film in which she has performed daring stunts with the help of action director Allan Amin and has even sung a few numbers.
