Washington, August 17 (ANI): Joel Madden has revealed that he is planning to propose to his girlfriend Nicole Richie.
The Good Charlotte frontman hinted that he was going to pop the question soon when he was quizzed about his relationship with the Simple Life star on ABC's Live! With Regis and Kelly, reports People.
Asking Joel for a comment on the status of his relationship, host Regis Philbin asked: "You're going to present her, maybe, with... A little ring, or something?"
Startled at the question, Madden replied: "I was hoping it would be a surprise, but now..."
The couple announced earlier this month that Richie was four months pregnant.
On the show, Madden also admitted that he is preparing for the birth by reading guidebooks like What to Expect When You're Expecting, The Expectant Father and Baby Signs. (ANI)
