Washington, Aug. 18 (ANI): The estate agents who brokered the deal for Victoria and David Beckham's home in Beverly Hills, California, have been charged with multiple counts of conspiracy, bank fraud and loan fraud.
According to reports, Kyle Grasso and Joseph Babajian doctored paperwork submitted to banks to obtain loans at a larger amount than the cost of the homes.
The agents personally showed the Beckhams the mansion worth about 24 million dollars. The celebrity couple moved into the house last month.
A lawyer for the estate agent said that they did not resort to any unlawful means to run their business.
"Joe and Kyle are innocent of these charges. They have always conducted their business lawfully. They look forward to vindicating themselves in court," Contactmusic quoted Babajian's lawyer as saying. (ANI)
