Actor Salman Khan is known to do anything for his family. Hence, when brother Arbaaz Khan decided to venture into production, the actor is naturally a part of the scheme of things. In fact, he will be seen in the movie, portraying a negative role of a corrupt police officer.

The film which is called Dabangg, which will be directed by Anurag Kashyap. One of the highlights of this film is that veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi will be making her acting debut in the project. Besides Salman and Sonakshi, the film will also star Sonu Sood. Dabanng, the title of the film, means fear. The film tells the story of this corrupt police officer who is feared by one and all for his dishonest and corrupt ways. The film is set in Uttar Pradesh and it portrays a realistic picture of the corruption existing in the system, specially in states like Bihar and UP. But coming back to Salman, not only will he be straying from his image of the hero in this movie, but he will also be sporting an unkempt look. Topping the look will be a moustache he will be acquiring for the role. It seems that Salman has decided to for an absolutely different look as well for this negative character that he is portraying. It seems that even Salman is bent on proving how versatile he is as an actor. In Anil Sharma's Veer, he plays an out and out hero, who will be battling beasts and men.
