The Producers Association has advised the concerned people to change the titles of 'Kettavan' and 'Porukki.'
Ever since the Tamilnadu govt announced concessions for films with Tamil titles and also put it into motion, the people who benefit from it mostly are theatre owners. In some instances, the distributors and producers also benefit. No one wants to let go this golden opportunity, so even those who give English titles are changing it for Tamil ones.
The Producers Association has stated categorically that they will not approach the govt for concession for films with bad image titles. That's why it has told the people concerned to change such gory titles like 'Kettavan' and 'Porukki.'
Refusing to do so would land them in problems, so they have agreed to change these titles.
They are paying more attention to titles than to the vulgar and senseless scenes that take place in films. Maybe they are afraid that if they take action against this, it would be impossible to make any Tamil film?
