Washington, August 21 (ANI): Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Spider-Man 3 have been nominated for a number of awards at Britain's inaugural National Movie Awards. U.K.
Following the success of the National Television Awards (NTA), TV network ITV is launching an annual award ceremony to honour the year's most successful films at the U.K. box office.
Similar to the NTA, the winners for various categories, including best family film, best action film, best comedy and best animation, will be chosen by the public via voting, reports Contactmusic.
Actresses up for the Best Actress award include Keira Knightley (Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End), Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man 3), Emma Watson (Harry Potter), Megan Fox (Transformers), Eva Green and Dame Judi Dench (Casino Royale).
Best actor nominees include Bruce Willis (Live Free Or Die Hard), Daniel Craig (Casino Royale), Shia LeBeouf (Transformers), Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man 3), Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom (Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End), Rupert Grint and Daniel Racliffe (Harry Potter).
Meanwhile Flushed Away, Happy Feet, Shrek The Third and The Simpsons Movie have been nominated for Best Animation.
The first National Movie Awards will be held at London's Royal Festival Hall on Sept 28 and will be broadcasted on ITV1 the following night. (ANI)
