New York, Aug 21 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan may not be close to finishing her third rehab stint, but she is already ready to deliver her new album.

It seems that the actress has informed Universal Music executives that she is prepared to work on her third album.

Casablanca label head Tommy Mottola, who guided her in 'Speak', had offered Lohan a chance to record another album, but she was busy with films.

To make matters worse, two DUI arrests got the 21--year-old in the middle of a huge controversy.

A source close to Lohan said that the starlet love music and writing songs.

"Lindsay loves music. She loves writing songs. Her track "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" grew out of her tormented relationship with dad Michael Lohan," the New York Daily News quoted, a source, as saying..

An insider at Universal Music said that the company is approaching the troubled star cautiously, for they want Lohan to clean herself up before any more deal.

"As much as she wants to make another album, the feeling is she needs to get herself cleaned up. Then we can talk about I,' the insider said. (ANI)
