Deepika Padukone’s career graph took off with her debut vehicle Om Shanti Om turning out to be a blockbuster.
After acting in a couple of films like CC to C and Bachna Ae Haseeno, the lady revealed that director Imtiaz Ali approached her even before OSO happened but she was not keen on acting at that time. Deepika, after all these years, has teamed up with Imtiaz for Love Aaj Kal.
Love Aaj Kal is produced by Saif Ali Khan, who also stars in it. It is worth a mention here that speculations in Bollywood were rife that Kareena Kapoor would be signed up for the project.
However, Imtiaz was set on having Deepika on board and eventually succeeded.
