London, August 22 (ANI): It seems that Geri Halliwell's new love, Russian Evgeny Lebedev, is leaving no stone unturned to impress his girl.

The billionaire recently bought Ginger Spice a pair of 20,000 pounds solitaire diamond earrings as a token of his love.

"Evgeny wanted to do something special for Geri and thought a pair of earrings would do the trick. He is a very classy guy so he didn't want to get her something too in-your-face, or a big rock that might have scared her off," the Daily Mail quoted a source, as saying.

And the Spice Girl is said to be so thrilled that she hardly stops staring at the sparkly gems, believed to be from Greece.

"Geri was overwhelmed when he gave them to her. But she makes sure to save the jewellery for special occasions, and when she isn't wearing them she loves to take sneaky glances at them in her jewellery box to remind her of Evgeny," the source said.

"Geri doesn't have much luck in love, so this pressie has really touched her. She is usually getting messed around by men, so this is a refreshing change for her. It's just another sign the couple are growing even closer," the source added.

Evgeny, recently named the world's third most eligible bachelor by Tatler magazine, is reportedly considering joining Geri on the upcoming Spice Girls US tour. (ANI)
