Washington, Aug 22 (ANI): Pop star Madonna is reportedly set to quit her record label Warner Music Group (WMG).
The 49-year-old is in talks with the label's bosses to leave the label after releasing the two remaining albums left on her contract.
According to the singer-actress' rep Liz Rosenberg, she will split from the label after her current deal expires and will move on with another company.
"Once that's done, Madonna is a free agent. Her management is considering a move to another company," Contactmusic quoted Rosenberg, as saying.
The singer will reportedly be signing a 100 million dollar deal with LA-based promotions company and venue owner LiveNation.
Earlier in 2004, Madonna was involved in a brief legal battle with Warner Music Group, with whom she co-owned record label Maverick. The legal dispute ended with Warner Music Group buying Madonna's shares in the record label. (ANI)
