London, Aug 23 (ANI): It seems junky rocker Pete Doherty's pet cat also loves dope like her master.
One of the 'Babyshambles' frontman's cat was recently saved by animal charity organisation RSPCA after it tested positive for cocaine.
Doherty's adult cat Dinger recently had a litter of five kittens and one of them fell sick.
A test showed that the kitten had cocaine in its bloodstream.
RSPCA spokesman Julie Stainton, however did not confirm whether it was the singer's cat.
"It is a police matter, so we cannot deny or confirm the identity of the man who had his kitten removed. But it is very important to protect animals from substances that can do them serious harm," the Daily Star quoted Stainton, as saying.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old has been freed from Bethnal Green police station in east London, where he had been held for charges of drugs possession. (ANI)
