Basking in glory with the success of Veyil, its director Vasantha Balan was on the look out for a producer for his next project titled “Puzhudhi”.
There were talks doing round in Kollywood that Oscar Films would finance this project. But the launch of Puzhudhi was delayed due to some prior commitments of the producer.
Meanwhile, Vasantha Balan, who was also fishing for a producer, had an offer from an NRI. According to our sources, considering the fact that new faces are being introduced in the movie, the NRI producer had made a proposal to the director to reduce the budget of the movie.
Whether Vasantha Balan will reduce the budget or scout for another producer needs to be seen.
