It is official, the much anticipated coming together of Shah Rukh Khan and Ramgopal Verma will not happen, at least for the time being. The long pending (more than a year) plans of a film titled ‘Time Machine’ have been reportedly dropped.

Now who initiated this change in plans is not sure but chances are that Shah Rukh’s lack of dates (he is busy with Om Shanthi Om, followed by a movie to be directed by Shrish Kunder and then the proposed Robot with Shankar) and Ramgopal Verma’s fast working style where he doesn’t like to wait for anyone are the reasons. But be informed that there is no tiff between the actor and director.

But things aren’t as bad as the above piece of information. It is just that Time Machine will not be made with Shah Rukh in the lead but it will still be made and in place of the King will be the Shahenshah of Bollywood. Yes, Amitabh Bachchan will star in Time Machine, Abhishek too will feature in an important role.

Well, isn’t that really good if not as good as the plans that were dropped. Now this will be Ramgopal Verma’s third consecutive directorial venture with the Bachchan’s after Sarkar , Sarkar Raj and Ramgopal Verma Ki Aag, not to forget Nishabd. They sure seem to get along well.
