8 X 10 TASVEER not only has an interesting concept, but also a great star cast. Akshay Kumar is seen out of his star image doing a different film. He is extremely good. Ayesha Takia is excellent as the girlfriend of Akshay. Javed Jaffery is hilarious as a paranoid suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder regarding hygiene. Rushad Rana is competent. And last but not the least, Girish Karnad and Sharmila Tagore are adequate.
The execution of this film is in Hollywood style. While the cinematography is of top notch quality, dialogues too are crisp and effective. The DVD has bonus features which includes - Making of the Film and Theatrical Promos.
