Washington, Aug. 23 (ANI): Shooting for the Western film '3:10 To Yuma' was a pleasure for actor Russell Crowe because it gave him a chance to ride horses.
The Oscar-winning star, who claims to be a horse riding expert, said that he wanted to remain seated in the saddle during the film's shooting.
"Probably since I was about nine or 10 years old, I've ridden horses quite regularly, and I have a cattle farm," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
"I have my own horses and stuff. So, for me, that was just a pleasure, being actually able to be on horseback for nine or 10 hours a day wasn't worrying me at all. You know, the more the better," he added.
Crowe stars alongside Christian Bale in the remake, which is slated for a release on September 7 in the US. (ANI)
