It's not Katrina Kaif as all would have expected but Lara Dutta. Salman Khan's preferred choice of heroine is turning out to be his co-star in Partner and not his lady love. Lara is bagging practically every project with Salman. The actress is believed to have signed her fifth film with Salman recently.

According to sources, the actress has been signed by Sohail Khan for Mr and Mrs Khanna which will be directed by first timer Prem Soni. The lady has also bagged a role in the Salman-Govinda starrer Tom & Jerry, which is sequel to Partner. She is also doing London Dreams with Salman. According to sources, Salman is extremely fond of Lara and considers her to be an actor with good comic timing. The actress has an edge over Katrina, who is still not very comfortable in Hindi or comedy as was evident in Partner. Lara, on the other hand, has been much appreciated for her role in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Salman is believed to have always had a say in his heroines. He only prefers to work with those he can get along with on the sets. And Lara and Salman became friends during the shooting of Partner.
