If you thought that the upcoming Hindi film 'Daddy Cool' had been lifted from the English film 'Death at a Funeral', here's a clarification. 'Daddy Cool' is a product from the makers of comedy capers like 'Masti' and 'Dhamaal', made by the duo Indra Kumar & Ashok Thakeria of Maruti Pictures fame and they have duly obtained permission from the producers of the English film 'Death At A Funeral' to produce and release the film 'Daddy Cool' across world and the film is being released by BIG Pictures.
Set to release on August 28, the film has been directed by K. Murli Mohan Rao, the veteran director from Hyderabad who has directed various films in Telugu and Hindi since 1983. The film has an ensemble star cast that includes Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Javed Jaffrey, Aarti Chhabria, Ashish Chowdhry, Tulip Joshi, Kim Sharma, Sophie Choudry, Rajpal Yadav, Chunky Pandey & Prem Chopra.
