Recently we had informed you that PVR Pictures, the movie production and distribution arm of PVR Ltd, has procured the rights to distribute Bollywood's most ambitious project, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision's much awaited underwater action thriller BLUE across North India which includes the cities of Delhi, UP and East Punjab (dated 20th August on your favourite portal Glamsham).

Now confirming the same, Dhilin Mehta, CMD, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd says, ''PVR is a one of the nation's leading and much admired brand and we are glad to associate ourselves with them. We have complete faith in PVR for taking care of the distribution of BLUE in the northern belt.''

Uday Singh, CEO, PVR Pictures commented, ''BLUE is an exciting film to be associated with. We are happy to distribute the film through our strong distribution network across Delhi, UP and East Punjab.''

BLUE captures the fast paced action, above and below the ocean as never seen before in Indian Cinema. This oceanic spectacle features Bollywood stars like Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, Rahul Dev and Katrina Kaif.

Having an amalgation of Hollywood and Bollywood, the film boasts of the best technicians from across the world. The wild scenic beauty of the oceans has been captured by the underwater specialist cinematographer Pete Zuccarini, while cinematographer Laxman Utekar captured the beauty of the Bahamas and bangkok.

The fast paced racy action has been executed by action director James Bomalick who had set pulses running with THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS - TOKYO DRIFT earlier.

This all-round action packed grandiose has none other than Oscar winner A R Rahman composing the tracks for the film with the winning combination of Resul Pookuty engineering the sound.

International pop icon Kylie Minogue has sung for a special soundtrack along with Sonu Nigam and performed along with the leading cast of the film.

Replete with action, underwater stunts, stylish characters, international technicians, and award winning musicians, the film has been shot in the Bahamas and Bangkok, and revolves around the complex relationships shared amongst the lead characters and their search for a lost treasure.

All set to hit theatres this Diwali on October 16th, BLUE is produced by one of India's biggest production houses Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. and directed by debutant director Anthony D'Souza.
