Nayantara is turning out to be the most successful heroine in the history of Malayalam cinema. Her career-graph is proof-enough of the fact.

Nobody would have thought that the girl who made her debut in 'Manasinakkarae' would someday become the actress that the entire south-Indian film industry is fascinated with. Even when she made her debut in Tamil with the Sharat Kumar film, it looked as if she just might become another Malayali heroine in Tamil.

But 'Chandramukhi' changed it all. Though Jyothika got more scope to perform in the film, it was Nayantara who ended up making the most of the film's success.

She created record of sorts when three films starring her in the lead roles were released on Diwali last year. But since then, she had been staying away from Tamil because she wanted to avoid troubles from her ex-boyfriend Simbu.

In spite of the smear campaign that was attempted against her by posting intimate pictures of her on the net, Nayantara still continues her dizzying climb in the career front. When her Telugu films were dubbed and released in Malayalam, they turned out to be bigger hits than the superstar films themselves!

Now, she has an impressive list of films lined up in Tamil. This includes a film each with Ajith, Danush and Vishaal.
