'Kannamoochi Enadaa' is directed by Priya and produced by Radhika Sarath Kumar's company Radaan. It stars Sathyaraj, Prithviraj, Sandhya, Radhika and Sripriya. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The audio release took place last evening. It should have started at 6pm but was delayed by 75 minutes. As usual, the later arrival of VIPs was ascribed to traffic jams.

Prakashraj had brought along his young son and looked different with beard and moustache. The little boy took turns to sit on the laps of Radha Mohan, Sathyaraj and Sarath Kumar. Surya and Karthi came together. Jayam Ravi, directors Selvaraghavan and KS Ravi Kumar were the front row VIPs.

The important guest of the function was Vivek Oberoi who has done a lot for tsunami victims. Seated between Surya and Karthi he enquired after junior Jyotika. He also praised Karthi's performance in 'Paruthiveeran.'

While all this was happening in the auditorium, the VIPs were invited to the dais. The audio was released by Vivek Oberoi and accepted by Surya. The felicitations started after this. Sarath Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Abhirami Ramanathan, Pyramid Natarajan and others spoke but Sathyaraj's speech was the highlight of the evening.

Director Priya concluded with her speech and invited the crew members on stage. "I am very sad that my brother G Srinivasan (brother of director Mani Ratnam, he passed away recently) is not in our midst now. But I am confident wherever his soul is, he is showering his blessings on me," she said in tears and others felt moved too.
