London, Aug 25 (ANI): Amy Winehouse has a new excuse for not entering rehab - this time it's the singer's hubby Blake Fielder-Civil.
The 23-year-old has reportedly accepted that she needed help, but has told her family, which is apparently up in arms about her whirlwind rehab stay, that Fielder-Civil has threatened to take his life if she left him on his own.
The pair has quit rehab twice since her drug overdose and recently the two were spotted bruised and bloody after a reported fight.
The singer claimed that they fought after Fielder-Civil found her in their hotel room with a prostitute about to take drugs while cutting herself.
"I was cutting myself after he found me in our room about to do drugs with a call girl and rightly said I wasn't good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life," the Sun quoted, Winehouse, as saying.
According to a source, after the fight, Winehouse's family thought that they could convince her to enter rehab, but she refused because of her hubby's warning.
"After the fight her family thought they had finally got through to her. But then she said she couldn't go to rehab because Blake said he'd kill himself if he was left alone," the source said.
The couple had earlier agreed to go to rehab after their respective fathers nearly came to blows over their heroin and cocaine addiction.
Winehouse stayed at the Causeway treatment centre in Essex, England, just for five days while the course was meant to last six to eight weeks.
The couple are currently staying at the Covent Garden Hotel after being kicked out of the Sanderson, and it seems that Amy can't stop hitting booze for she asked a barman for 'loads of alcohol' there also.
"I just want a drink with loads of alcohol in it," she said. (ANI)
