Daughter brings Sir Paul and Heather close again

London, August 25 (ANI): It seems that Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills' daughter Beatrice has brought the estranged couple closer.

Sources have revealed that McCartney and Mills have buried the hatchet and ended their awkwardness in the process of meeting twice a week to 'hand over' the 3-year-old, as part of their shared custody agreement.

So much so, that Heather recently confided in a friend a growing assurance that her estranged husband is trying to win her back.

Sources close to the former Beatle say that Beatrice is the sole reason behind a transformed Paul.

Friends say that viewing the same spark in their child has made Paul reconsider his previously scornful opinion of her mother.

"Paul and Heather are definitely much friendlier now. They don't have long conversations about divorce settlements anymore. They leave that to the lawyers to sort out. The bond which has brought them back together is their little girl," the Daily Mail quoted a source, as saying.

"In the heat of the moment, a lot of hurtful things were said and done, but one thing Paul can't ignore is that Heather's a fantastic mum and Bea completely adores her. That has changed Paul's thinking more than anything else," the source added.

The decisive moment in their relationship came earlier this year, when Paul made an extraordinary apology for his behaviour.

"He changed very suddenly. He went so far as to say that he would always love her, and how much he respected her strength and determination," the source said.

"Heather was blown away. So much so that she told me: 'I know it sounds incredible, but I think he wants me back,'" the source added.

The couple have settled a divorce deal, which will see Sir Paul pay Heather 70million pounds over the years until Beatrice turns 18. (ANI)
