His 1983 laugh riot Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron is now a part of Hindi film lore as one of the greatest all-time comedies. And by the looks of it, the director is all set to repeat the magic. He is ready with the script of a sequel to this cult movie.
According to reports, Firoz Nadiawala is all set to produce the sequel to Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. The film is expected to be ready by 2008. Kundan Shah's script is ready and the casting for the film has already begun. Nadiawala is also making another sequel to Hera Pheri and the sequel will be called Hera Pheri 4. It will be directed by Anees Bazmee. In fact, there are a lot of films in the pipeline for Nadiawala. He has roped in National Award winning director Sai Paranjpe, Prakash Jha, Aziz Mirza, Rumi Jaffery and Ahmed Khan to make films for his banner. Sai is making a comedy called Khoon To Hona Hi Tha. And there is also the big one, 1857—The Mutiny, which is being made with stars from Bollywood and Hollywood.
