Washington, August 25 (ANI): Pierce Brosnan has revealed that he hated the beard he had grown for his latest film, 'Seraphim Falls'.

The ex-James Bond recently confessed that he was overjoyed to finish shooting the civil war movie, so he could shave off the itchy grey facial hair he grew for his role.

"I hated it. I was so glad to get that thing off. My wife hated it too. It took me about eight weeks to grow," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

"Beards are a great thing for acting, they change your persona and I wanted to do that in this movie," he added.

Meanwhile Brosnan has admitted that he would love to do a guest appearance in BBC's Last Of The Summer Wine.

The actor, who played 007 on the big screen for seven years, confessed to being a huge fan of the show.

"I love the show and the idea that three old men actually do what they want. I would love to guest on it," he told The Sun. (ANI)
