Even though producer Sajid Nadiadwala's Heyy Babyy is reported to have opened to full houses on Friday, the producer is too despondent and in no mood to celebrate following the news about good friend Salman Khan's imminent arrest. It was certainly not a good Friday for Nadiadwala.
With the Jodhpur court rejecting Salman Khan's appeal against the conviction handed out to him in the Chinkara case, his arrest is now imminent. The producer likely to be effected immediately is Boney Kapoor. Salman has been shooting for his film 'Wanted Dead & Alive' (a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Pokhiri) for the last one month. According to Boney, he went into this project with his eyes open. He wanted Salman for the role and is not regretting his decision today. Boney is still grateful to the actor for standing by him when he in financial doldrums before the release of 'No Entry.' The actor was shooting for Boney till two days ago. Only 25 per cent of the film is complete and the film's next schedule is set for October. Boney, like the rest of Salman's wellwishers and producer, is keeping his fingers crossed.
