Sangeeth Sivan's forthcoming movie, 'Cheers', will see a lot of fathers and sons coming together, making it seem almost like a family reunion. Well, we don't know if the film is about family bonding or not, but we sure do know that it is heartening to see so many fathers and sons coming together in their professional life.
Since Sivan's film stars the father and son duo of Dharmendra and Bobby Deol, music composer Shamir Tandon decided to take the father and son combo to another level by getting another father and son to record a sing to be played on the Deol duo in the movie. Udit Narayan and his son Aditya Narayan will be coming together to sing the duet, titled, 'Hun Dono' for Dharmendra and Bobby, who also play father and son in the movie. Aditya, who has been hosting a music reality show on TV, last sang a song in Hindi films when he was all of ten years. This will be his first playback song as an adult and coincidently, both times he will have his father for company. As for the composer, he feels it made perfect sense to get Udit and Aditya to sing the song as it is all about the chemistry between a father and a son, and who better than a father and son to sing it. That was quite innovative of Tandon, who has also composed the music for Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Jail', where he has got Lata Mangeshkar to sing a bhajan. His other forthcoming films include, 'Acid Factory', 'Click' and 'Mumbai Chakachak'. Seems that this composer has the knack of pulling off surprises.
